Matthew A. Flamm

Graduated from Northwestern University and from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was Editor of the Georgetown Law Journal and graduated magna cum laude. He is past Chair of the Real Estate Taxation Committee of the Chicago Bar Association and has spoken at seminars regarding real estate tax sales and tax deed proceedings, Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, and using Individual Retirement Account (IRA) funds to invest in real estate. He is a member of the State and Local Taxation Council of the Illinois State Bar Association and a member of the Judicial Evaluation Committee of the Chicago Council of Lawyers. He has been appointed to several blue-ribbon committees by the Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County and by the Cook County Clerk. His practice is concentrated in the organization, acquisition, representation and sale of businesses; commercial real estate transactions; election law; and real estate taxation, tax sale and tax deed matters.
